The RainPC-ST Turns rainwater into fresh clean household water. This unique three-stage filtration system uses an 80 micron and a 10 micron pre-filter along with an activated carbon filter in which the colloidal silver-ceramic balls and copper are embedded. These filter and eliminate pathogenic bacteria, such as E-coli and enterococcus faecalis, which is usually the result of bird droppings.

The standard RainPC-ST requires the use of a buffer storage tank, which is needed for residual disinfection. Together with a suitable Plation Float the system filters and eliminates possible remaining bacteria whilst preserving the purified water.

It takes up to 24 hours to ensure maximum purification, turning rainwater into cleaner, safer household and drinkable water with a level of E-coli<1/100 ml. This is the worldwide microbial norm for drinkable water, meeting both WHO Guidelines and Dutch water authority regulations.

RainPC-MF Turns rainwater into fresh clean drinkable Water. This is a 4 part filtration process consisting of an 80 micron and a 10 micron pre-filter, an activated carbon filter and an MF Membrane filter. This combination of filters, using colloidal silver, eliminates pathogenic bacteria, such as E-coli and enterococcus faecalis.

The addition of an MF (Micro Filtration) cartridge means that the water is purified directly. There is no need for a buffer tank as with the RainPC-ST.

The RainPC-MF provides clean, fresh drinkable water, free from bacteria (up to 99.999%*), straight from the tap meeting Dutch water authority regulations and WHO Guidelines.

Plation's focus on Rainwater Harvesting and the development of a series of cost-effective water purification and preservation products led to the creation of the stand-alone RainPC.

RainPCs require no power and operate on gravity feed and pump pressure.

There are two RainPC options, the RainPC–ST and RainPC-MF, which are supplied as complete units, working as part of rainwater harvesting systems.

The two systems differ slightly in technique and the speed at which they reach a level of purification to provide household and drinkable water.
