Delivery Information

We deliver to destinations in the UK, all countries of the European Union and at our discretion outside the EU.
We deliver via postal services or courier and use appropriate packaging.

Shipping costs are given on the pre-checkout page of the online buying section of the site. They are calculated by weight and distance.

Most goods are available from stock and will be dispatched within 2 working days for delivery within no more than 6 days. If we suspect delay we will advise you and give you the opportunity to cancel the order if you find the delay is unacceptable.
 

Returns
 
No Fault Returns (only for private persons in the European Union not acting in any professional capacity)
You may cancel your purchase within seven working days from receipt of the goods and return them at your costs. We will refund the purchase price less our delivery costs within 30 days from receipt of the goods.

Goods so returned must be unused and as new in their original packaging and include all manuals and accessories.
We refuse goods for which we have not received notice of cancellation within 7 working days or which we have received in any other condition and we will after 6 weeks consider these as abandoned by you and dispose of them at our discretion. 

Faulty Returns: In the case of you receiving damaged or faulty goods, please contact us within 7 working days from receipt of the goods and return them to us at our request in their original packaging including all manuals and accessories for evaluation. Upon receipt of the goods and confirmation of the fault we will offer you either
    •    Full replacement at our expense or
    •    Full refund of the purchase price.
If the product is not found to be faulty we will offer you to return it at your costs. 

Procedure: Buyers wishing to return goods for whatever reason should obtain a Return Authority Number (“RA Number”) from us. This will help us deal with the return or exchange promptly and with the minimum inconvenience to you. We cannot accept or process a return for exchange or refund without the RA Number and cannot guarantee prompt action without it. Please make sure you get this number before returning any goods.
Goods being returned within 7 days from receipt must be unused and as new in their original packaging including all manuals and accessories. We do not accept returns obliging us to pay transport or other costs or taxes.
 
 

General Terms and Conditions
 
General
These Conditions apply to all our Internet sales. By completing the procedure described in the Website (herein the “Website procedure”) you accept these Conditions to the exclusion of all other conditions. In these Conditions “in writing” shall also mean by e-mail. The sale will come into force upon completion of the Website procedure.
Prices
All prices are set out in the website and exclude VAT. We reserve the right to amend prices until completion of the Website procedure. We charge delivery costs as set out in the Website procedure.
Payment
Payment will be made in advance as set out in the Website procedure. In case we have agreed to payment on account or after delivery, payment shall be made within 30 days after date of invoice and without deduction or set-off. Payment is only completed after we have received notification that our bank account has been credited. We shall have the right to charge interest on sums outstanding at the rate of 1.5% per month or part of a month. All costs, both judicial and extra-judicial, the latter assessed at 10% of the invoiced amount, incurred in collecting and recovering overdue amounts are for your account.
Delivery
We deliver goods destined for countries in the European Union “Delivery Duty Paid” (according to Incoterms) to the address set out by you in the Website procedure within the period set out in the Website procedure. We will however not be liable for any late delivery or duty due on goods to countries outside of the EU.
Complaints
Complaints about shortages or defects, which can be discovered by normal diligent inspection, have to be notified to us in writing within 7 days after delivery. Any right to claim shall expire if:
    •    You did not notify us within the requisite period or
    •    You did not return the goods to us at our request with the original packaging or
    •    Goods continue to be used or delivery has taken place more than six months before.

Liability
We will only be liable for material and manufacturing defects. If such defects are founded, we will - in your option -
    •    Remedy the defects or
    •    Deliver replacement goods against return of the defective goods or
    •    Annul the agreement and return the purchase price against return of the defective goods.
    •    We will not be liable for costs or damages (including consequential damages) caused directly or indirectly by:
    •    Application or use of the goods or
    •    Advice given by us or
    •    Late delivery or non-delivery of goods.

All our liability will expire six months after delivery. You release us from any and all further liability and will hold us harmless from all claims of third parties.

Rights of industrial property

We retain title and copyright for all drawings, specifications and other data we may provide.

Note that any test results shown in the web site do not imply any guarantee of performance in any particular system. Results of both Plation Filtration and Plation Float  products are subject to the specific system and its condition at any given time.

Applicable law and disputes

All agreements are subject solely to the Laws of the UK. All disputes will be exclusively settled by the County Court in Chelmsford, Essex provided we in our option may institute proceedings before any other court having jurisdiction over you elsewhere.
Variations
Variations to these conditions are only valid to the extent we have confirmed them in writing. Changes may be applied at our discretion at any time.
